About Us

Nanyang Polytechnic

The NYP Ambassadorial Team was established in August 1995 to be the front-line student representatives for Nanyang Polytechnic. Ever since the establishment, the NYP Ambassadorial team has moved on and established itself as a prominent club that prides itself on its professionalism in NYP, as well as amongst numerous prominent agencies such as SINDA, PUB, NHG, and many more. The team has also hosted many renowned and prominent figures such as former President Mr. S. R. Nathan, the late Minister Mentor Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, Prime Minister Mr. Lee Hsien Loong, as well as numerous local celebrities and foreign representatives.

The NYP Ambassadorial Team provides professional ushering and hosting services to both NYP and its clubs, as well as to external agencies such as the Singapore Public Utilities Board in. The NYP Ambassadorial Team also provides events management services. Some of the events that we have organized or assisted in are Men’s Fashion Week 2011, GeneratioNYP, NYP’s annual 7-a-side soccer tournament Kick It, Purple Parade and many more.
